NXT Star Joins Main Roster At WWE Clash At The Castle

Gunther revealed that he has reassembled Imperium on the WWE main roster ahead of his Intercontinental Championship bout at Clash At The Castle.

After Sheamus made his entrance with Ridge Holland and Butch, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, formerly known as Fabian Aichner, introduced Gunther.

In an odd move, the former Aichner was referred to as ‘Giovanni Vinci’, which was his name after his gimmick change, after Kaiser and Gunther were called up to the main roster in April.

Vinci officially left Imperium on the April 5 edition of NXT, walking out on Kaiser (fka Marcel Barthel) during a tag team match.

Vinci is the latest NXT star to be called up to the main roster following Triple H taking over WWE creative in July.
