Pakistan growth slows sharply as economic challenges mount

Pakistan’s GDP grew provisionally by 0.29% in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, marking one of the lowest growth rates in country’s history. The economic slowdown comes amidst record inflation and interest rates, devaluation of currency, and a stalled IMF bailout.
